The "peeling" is a treatment that is carried out by applying acids, lotions, creams or gels on the skin and is based on the ability of the skin to regenerate itself.
If this exfoliation takes place through appropriate machinery (such as micro dermis abrasion) this exfoliation is called "mechanical"; in the case of acids, however, it is called chemical peeling.
The objectives are the removal of dead cells from the stratum corneum, promote cell turnover and, consequently, promote revitalizing biological mechanisms. The skin, in fact, will appear brighter, with a more homogeneous texture, and the increased production of collagen and elastin gives more hydration, uniformity (in case of stains) and skin tone.
It is used a combination of alpha-hydroxy acids and betaidhydroxy acids, a group of substances of mostly plant origin, including:
- glycolic acid: obtanied from sufar cane, beets and grapes
- mandelic acid: obtained from almonds
- salicylic acid: obtained from willow, it is a betaidoxy
- malic acid: obtained from apples
- citric acid: obrained from citrus
- lactic acid: involves the use of bacteria from fermentation on sugar cane and beets
The substances perform an exfoliating action suitable for all skin types to treat skin thickening, opacity, wrinkles and stains. Fruit acids, in particular, can very easily dissolve the bonds that join the dead cells from the living ones. In this way, the normal cellular replacement is accelerated for an increasingly younger face, neck and cleavage!
Considering the customization of the treatment and our experience, we propose more techniques, also combined, alongside the peeling to:
